There are four types of laptops Fujitsu manufacture; these are mini, all-round, advanced and superior. During the course of this article I will describe the differences between these fujitsu laptop and who the target market is.
The superior laptops are designed predominantly for business use with fast and secure data exchange software provided. These laptops provide the highest technical features that Fujitsu provide meaning the number of things it can do are virtually unlimited. There are a variety of models within the superior range but there is also the opportunity to customize the actual machine making it ideal for business and industry.
The advanced series is a slight step down from the superior range. The specification of the laptop is not as good and there is no opportunity to customize the machine pre-purchase, but the laptop is still more than capable of performing multiple tasks and a variety of high power applications.
The advanced series also has a built-in media centre for viewing videos and images and listening to music making it even easier to use the laptop as a home entertainment device. The laptops are designed with both the professional and the gamer in mind. The powerful technical specification of the machines allow for fast processing of documents and business programs, whilst the top-spec graphics rendering allows for high resolution games to be played to an exceedingly high standard which is comparable to most top end desktop PCs.
The next range down is the all-round series. These laptops are designed for home use. A light package of Office is provided to allow for the creation of simple work documents be it spreadsheets or word documents. The laptop is also capable of providing image editing, some lower spec requirement games, easy access of multimedia and access to the internet.
The mini series has been designed for easy access to the internet whilst providing a helpful medium for processing word documents on the go. The design is compact allowing for the mini to be easily taken from destination to destination. They are unable to effectively run recent release games or software packages but as I said it has been designed to be able to access the internet for a reasonable price.
The most expensive fujitsu laptop in the series are the ’superior’ range ones whose prices start at around $2500. Next in the list of most expensive are the ‘advanced’ range costing in the region of $1800. The all-round range starts from a reasonable $1000 which is a fair price to pay for a starter laptop, whilst the ‘mini’ range will only set you back $500 which if you only want internet access is a very good price.
