Dive PC watches are quite trendy and can be substituted for your regular wrist-watch. Pals and family will see your new accessory, but do you actually know the differences between the two?
You may first notice that your dive PC watch is waterproof. Manifestly, this is an absolute must. Some wristwatches are also water-resistant, so how does this make the scuba dive PC different? The dive computer watch withstands pressure as a water resistant device.

Taking a dive without a good dive PC watch is just plain dumb. All divers must take safety cares and get ready for a successful dive. Water pressure is not something with which to mess around. Multiple physical illnesses, and some that result in death, happen when divers ascend too quickly and dive too deep.
In reality, one complication from diving too deep is ‘Martini’s Law.’ Martini’s Law occurs when someone’s body has an adverse effect to the mix of gasses. The guideline for Martini’s Law is that for each fifty feet of dive, it equals a dry martini on an empty stomach. Many factors determine how an individual reacts to the aggregate of Oxygen and Nitrogen, but a good dive PC watch will help forestall Nitrogen Narcosis.
A famous account of Martini’s Law was recorded by a diver many years ago. The diver who wrote of the event was observing a fellow diver who was making an attempt to break a diving record. The observing diver, who was at 300 ft, saw his co-worker, who was at 300 ft. At the time, offered his regulator to a fish, and proceeded to sink to 3,000 ft. Sadly, this diver succumbed to Martini’s Law and rather than seeing his physical symptoms, a dive computer watch could help with this by comparing dive time, he let the sensation take him.
Dive PC watches are not inexpensive, but are essential. After you begin your dive, you want faithful appliances to help in a winning dive. There are cheap imitations on the market that look similar to the better-made dive PC watches. Look for the vital features and you will find the precise watch for your next ideal dive.
